As a volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society I drove Richard to the Oshawa Cancer Unit a number of times. We talked about England (one of my favourite places), golf and cars and a bit about family. I am sorry for your loss and wished I had got to know him better.

My sincerest condolences to Dick's family & friends. I bought a car from Dick a few years ago and he was the nicest salesman, a very nice man. When I lost that particular vehicle in an accident this past fall I went back to OMS to ask for Dick and was told that he was off work for a while. I had no idea. I am so very sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry to hear about Dick. We both remember summers at Sunnybrae when Dick was one of the pros. I (Kathy) worked in the snack bar and Ritchie was a member. It was good times! Ever since then, whenever I hear "Knights in White Satin" I think of Dick. He had the "eight track" and we used to listen to the Moody Blues all the time. He was a good guy, and we used to have alot of fun! Kathy and Ritchie

I just heard of Dick's passing. I was the manager that hired Dick at OMS. We worked together for almost 10 years. I hold him in high regard as Dick was always respectful of everyone and was the first to offer help. He is a very unique fellow in the fact that he cared about people and worked very hard every day.I know he loved his family very much. He will be greatly missed. RIP, Dick.
