Cheryl, Glenn, Kyle, Leigh, Dorothy, Joanne, Diane and each of Eleanor's extended family and friends. On behalf of the entire King Family, Barry, Pat, Kevin, Tammy, Ashleigh, Hayleigh and Madisson of Guelph, Michael of Parry Sound and Debbie, Josh and Jordan of Calgary, our most sincere condolences over the loss of a very special person we all came to know and love. As well, Eleanor and Doug together, were a wonderful couple, always involved with family, terrific to be around and enjoyable whether at the cottage, family reunion, visits or special occasions. On hearing the sad news, each of my children immediately reflected on Eleanor and without hesitation reacted the same way, saying she was the BEST, always asking how things were going and making them feel special. She took an interest in each person, young or old and will always be remembered as a very sincere and warm person who we were fortunate to have within our family circle. She cared so much for each of you and I know it will be difficult in the days ahead, but you can be comforted knowing that she is reunited with Doug for eternity. God Bless, Barry King

Linda and I are deeply sadden by Elanor's passing. Although we had not seen each other for many years, we have often thought of her. We are so sorry for your loss Cheryl and our thoughts are with you in these difficult times.

"Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow". David, Hayden and I did not know your Mother, however if you are a reflection of her I am sure she was a true gem. Our thoughts are with you all during this time.

Eleanor was a wonderful neighbor and showed so much resilience in her senior years. We had only known her since moving next door about 4 years ago but she always had an ear for listening and a heart for supporting us. She was loved by us in the short time our family got to know her. We told Eleanor how much we missed home baking since our own mothers dementia became unstoppable and we talked about our own grief with mothers current health and housing in long term care. She always gave good advice talking about her own experience in difficult times with loved ones and we always had a home baked goodie just like a mom would make followed by a coffee (or maybe something stronger) and a supportive hug. You are a lady and a hero and will not be forgotten. We love you - Mark, David and Madeline Thomas Brown
