Obituary of Catherine Symes

CATHERINE STRUTHERS SYMES ~ (Retired Employee of Scotia Bank) ~ With dignity and grace, at the Cottage Hospital in Uxbridge, on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in her 88th year. Cathie Symes of Uxbridge and formerly of Ajax and Agincourt will join her wonderful husband Ronald Symes who died in 1993. Loving and cherished mother of Hilary and her husband Mark Nikolic of Toronto and Wendy and her husband Mark Holder of Uxbridge. Loved and devoted Nana of Alexander, Eric, James, Madison and Griffen. Cathie will be missed by her many friends and family from far and wide. The family of Cathie Symes will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Saturday, January 8th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Private interment St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Scarborough.
