BRIDGET IMELDA O’FLYNN ~ (Retired from Maclean-Hunter with 29 years service. On the Executive of the Emerald Irish Society) ~ Peacefully, on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Toronto East General Hospital, at age 86. Imelda (nee McKenna), beloved wife of the late Jimmy O’Flynn of Port Perry and formerly of Scarborough. Loved mother of Ann Galloway (Todd Saunders) of Keswick, Noeleen Garvey (Alex Crichton) of Whitby, Nuala McIlroy (husband Donald) of Scarborough, and Brian O’Flynn of Dunsford. Loving grandmother of Devlin, Caitlin, Cameron, Shane, Colleen and Garrett. Dear sister of Sister Benedict (McKenna) and Caitriona McKenna both in Ireland and she was predeceased by her brother Pat J. McKenna. Rested at the Wagg Funeral Home in Port Perry and then friends will be received at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, (at Goulding, south of Steeles) (416-221-1159) on Sunday, November 7th from 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 44 Broadway Avenue in Toronto on Monday, November 8th at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
