Jackie we wish to express our sympathy to you and your entire family. This year has been an extremely hard year for you and words can not express properly our thoughts and prayers for you. Having lived across the road for so many years we know how close you and Jocelyn were and always will be. We wish we could have made the service but do to medical problems Pam is having we were not able to attend. This in no way means our thoughts are not with you and our prayers with Jocelyn. We will light a candle on Tuesday. Please drop in and see us when you back in Brampton. If you have a moment, and feel up to it please drop us an email as we don't have your home or email address. Jackie, please take care of yourself and focus on the memories of better times. May God Bless and look over your family during this time of sorrow. Best wishes Pam & Jim Seckington

Jocelyn's life was a life too short. Jackie, I know that you, especially, will feel her loss. I will always remember her vibrant smile and welcoming ways. You can see it and feel it in her picture. I know that you will find strength at this time in the warm embrace of your friends. I share your sorrow. And those who knew her will forever hold her in their heart and remember her with love. Your friend, Carol Anne

Dear Jackie, I just read the obituary for your sister on tonight's Guardian. It's odd, that as we get older I now make it a habit of reading that page. Although I only met your sister a few times, we never forget those who briefly enter our lives and then leave just as quickly. Please accept my deepest condolences. I didn't even know that you had moved out of Brampton. Thank you for sharing your loss with us through the Guardian. Anytime we lose a loved one, we seem to lose a part of ourselves. Take care and may you find comfort. With deepest sympathy, Maria Furtado

Jocelyn's beautiful smile always made you feel welcome. Over the years I had many opportunities to get together with Jocelyn and Jackie. We shared many happy times over drinks, dinner and visits with friends. I was fortunate to have spent some time with Jocelyn while she was in the hospital. During my last visit she had a good laugh when I told her the story about losing my newly acquired prosthesis. Jackie, I know these will be very difficult times for you. If there is anything I can do, I am not far away. We know that Jocelyn is in the most beautiful garden of all. God in His mercy ended her suffering and has her near Him. Who knows? Maybe she will meet my sister, Shirley in heaven.
