To the family of Aunt Annie, please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I remember her as a strong, hard-working, nothing will stop me, type of person. I can't remember a time when visiting her with Mom and Dad (Charlie & Margaret), that we didn't leave without a trunk full of vegetables from her prolific garden. There was one remarkable episode that I have never forgotten. It was the time when Aunt Annie gave Dad a trunk full of potatoes, beets, and whatever else happened to be available on our way back to Sudbury after spending our yearly holiday with Grandma & Grandpa. None of our trips were uneventful of course, but this particular time we got a flat tire. Yes, you guessed it, we had to empty the whole trunk to get at the spare tire - one potato at a time because they hadn't been bagged. Picture mounds of potatoes, beets, carrots on the side of the road and my very patient; and I use the term loosely, father trying to get to the spare. Not pretty. My poor Mother stayed in the car and had yet another cigarette (you could smoke in cars in those days - even with 3 to 5 children in the car - no seat belts, no booster seats - how did we manage to survive?) That way, she didn't have to see the smoke coming out of Dad's ears. But in the end, we got to enjoy Aunt Annie's fresh veggies and think of her with kindness and love. However, as a young child, I prayed that her garden would fail the following year. It never did - thank goodness. Love to all, your cousin, Lawrie.

To the Callery Family: our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. No words can describe the pain a child feels at the loss of ones parent. May it be a comfort to you to know that she is no longer in any pain and she will be watching & protecting her family up above from the heavens. God has a special place for her at his side and it is now time for her to start a new journey to protect her loved ones in a different way. May your memories of your mom give you strength to continue each day with courage. You where loved very much my her and now you will need to show her that you will continue your own journey and make her proud of each and one of you. May her strength and endurance continue in each and every one of you. Our prayers will continue to help each and every one of you through this time of healing. Sending you all lots of hugs, strength and courage. The Esteves Family

Our thoughts and prayers go to all of Aunt Annie's family. She was such a strong person with unbounded kindness to everyone. These times of pain also open windows to good memories from the past where her light, and those flames of the family, show through easing the loss. Those memories span from visits and gangs of young cousins to today where her success as the patriarch is daily honoured by those she leaves behind. Our aunt will always amaze and be an example for us with her accomplishments and travel both spiritually and temporally though this life. As summer progresses We hope to be able to travel and pass these thoughts and prayers in person. Kelly, Karen, Kel II, Kylia, Kelsy and Kyle
