Obituary of Dorothy Irene Bourgeois

DOROTHY IRENE BOURGEOIS ~ Peacefully, on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Peterborough Regional Hospital, at age 79. Dorothy (nee Rider), beloved wife of the late Elie Charles "Charlie" Bourgeois of Port Perry. Loving mother of Charlene and her husband Bill Murphy of Ennismore, David Bourgeois and his wife Wendy of Nestleton, Jon Bourgeois and his wife Roni of Port Perry, and Mary Lou Bourgeois of Peterborough. Dear grandmother of Meghan (Gary), Erin (Andrew), David (Megan), Daryl (Sheila), Nicole, and Danielle and great grandmother of Olivia, Emilea, Claire, Wyatt and Charlie. She is survived by her brother James Rider of Oshawa and her sister Marjorie Redman of Port Perry and she was predeceased by her sister Ena Harris, her brothers David Rider and Harold Rider and her parents Clarence and Leola Rider. The family of Dorothy Bourgeois will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Wednesday, May 19th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her Life will be held in the Port Perry United Church on Thursday, May 20th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Elaine Sveet officiating.
