YVONNE EDGAR ~ (Former Chief of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation) ~ Peacefully, on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry at age 74. Yvonne (nee McCue), beloved wife of the late Ronald Edgar of Scugog Island. Loved mother of Rhonda and her husband Ted Coppaway of Curve Lake and the late Rick Edgar of Scugog Island. Loving grandmother of Clayton Coppaway and his girlfriend Natasha Meier and Evan Coppaway and his wife Nicole. Dear sister of Eric McCue, Ila Knott, John McCue and the late Genevieve Ewart and Doreen Rosien. The family of Yvonne Edgar will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, April 12th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Curve Lake Church on Tuesday, April 13th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Ken Lawton officiating.
