Jim was our wedding photographer, and recently he was at our Guatemala Gala taking pictures for SNAP Clarington. He was such a kind hearted man, with a passion and keen eye for photography. His love for his family was apparent in everything he did and he knew how important family memories and the preservation of memories was for himself and for others. He will be dearly missed by all. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his wife and children and to all those that knew and loved him.

Dear Suzanne, Samuel and Charlotte, After curling tonight I heard the news. I would've been at the funeral had I known. He was such a lovely and generous man. Every year at our golf camps he took pictures and made copies and gave them out to everyone. It was thoughtful gesture from a kind man. I also appreciated Suzanne giving me a couple of your pictures framed as a thank you for being a parent volunteer. I know your dad was proud of you. Follow your dreams and remember all the great times you shared. I am so sorry to hear about Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I had the pleasure of not only having my children taught by Jim, but working along side him and being his friend. The memories I hold are very important to me as was he. I will always remember Jim as Mr.Effer, the fourth grade teacher from Epsom Public School. Mr. Effer was an incredible and respectable man, who had every student in the room's attention. He was always able to see the person on the inside and their true potential to be more. After not have seen Mr. Effer in ten years time, he was still able to recognize me, recall my name and remember my family as well. That is a feature from which only a truly genuine soul could acquire. He will be truly missed my brother and myself. Please accept my condolences from my family to yours. You are parting for now, but not forever. Yours Truly from the McClure family
