Obituary of Helen May Nowell

HELEN MAY NOWELL Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 88. Helen (nee Wardell), beloved wife of the late John Nowell (2000) and the late Clifford McKitterick (1960). Loved mother of Frank McKitterick and Judy Charles of Waterloo, Don McKitterick and his wife Heidi of Port Perry, Jo-Anne and her husband Paul Liut of Windsor, and the late Peter McKitterick (1946) and second mother of Carol and her husband Don Snyder of Mississauga and Susan and her husband John Knox of Campbellford. Loving grandmother of Peter, Christopher, Nicholas, Emma, Philip, Laura, Heather and Scott. The family of Helen Nowell will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, March 4th from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Private interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Scarborough. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
