Preplanning – The Time is Now

No one can plan for the time that they die. It is often the family left behind that has to make those hard decisions about what you would have wanted for your funeral. However, with preplanning, you can take away the guesswork and spare your family from making some hard decisions about your wishes. That is why now is the time to preplan your funeral.

What Goes into Preplanning?

When you hear the words, preplanning, you often think of having to make some decisions that you may not want to face at this moment. However, here at Wagg Funeral Home, we have found that preplanning can really put your mind to ease as to what is going to happen when you do pass away. What aspects are covered when preplanning a funeral? There are a few listed here:

  • The type of funeral that you want, will you be buried or cremated, casket choices and the like.
  • Financial arrangements are made up front to ensure that the funeral is paid for when the time comes.
  • Other arrangements can include the music you want played, who will be the officiant at the funeral, and similar decisions.

Why is NOW the Time?

Why should you do this now? As we mentioned before, you never know when the time may come that these decisions need to be made. It is important that everyone has their affairs in place before they die, as this simply makes it easier on everyone. For those who are going to have specific wishes, it is always best to have these wishes in place rather than rely on someone in your family to decide when they are facing the stress of dealing with the death of a loved one.

Are you ready to preplan your funeral? If so, then let us help. Preplanning a funeral does not have to be a hassle or a sad event, it is just a matter of being prepared for what will happen to everyone.
