It’s not easy to let a loved one go after they have passed away. Grieving families often want to keep a piece of their loved one alive. There are many ways in which you can honour and memorialize a loved one after they have passed on and some of them are mentioned below:

1. Consider Getting an Art Piece

Many people get art pieces to honor their deceased loved ones. You can choose any design or image that brings forth the memory of the decedent. For example, some people can honor their deceased loved one by simply having a wonderful photo painted and enlarged. There are also options to print out the DNA of your loved one and have it formed into a unique art piece.

2. Create a Scrapbook or an Album

Scrapbooks and albums can be a physical representation of the memories you have shared with the decedent. Collect the most important and memorable photographs and assemble them inside a scrapbook. It’s a great idea to add quotes from the deceased loved one to the scrapbook so you have both pictures and words to remember them by. There are also may ways you can make online scrapbooks to memorialize your loved one.

3. Plant a Tree in Their Name

Trees are living entities that represent strength, resilience, wisdom, and other such favorable qualities. They can be a great representation of the decedent as well. Family members can plant a tree of their choice in the deceased loved one’s name and watch it grow over time. A tree isn’t just a great symbol of life and nature, but it is also a great for helping the environment thrive.
