Most people send condolence flowers to families that have lost a loved one and including a letter is part of it. This is a good way to show your support and empathy in their time of grief. Flowers of different kinds can help to calm and comfort people.

Wagg Funeral Home experts know that when there are flowers at a funeral service, it changes the entire ambiance and feel of the space.

Things To Consider While Sending Flowers

When you are sending condolence flowers, it’s different from other occasions. It also means you need to keep various things in view while doing so. Let’s take a look at what they are:

  • Send seasonal fresh flowers. You can ask the florist for input, as they are knowledgeable and will tell you which flowers you can send.

  • Since flowers do not last for a long time, you can consider sending a flowering plant instead. The plant will enliven their home and the blooms will add color to space. Some popular potted flowers are orchids, white azaleas, and gardenias. Include a booklet with the plant, to tell them how they can care for it.

  • It’s essential to note that different flowers send a different message, which makes choosing the right varieties crucial. As mentioned earlier, discuss your requirement with the florist and they will make sure that the flowers they recommend are suitable for the occasion. You can also create a bouquet with different types of flowers.
